Certificate Number Guide

Find Your Certificate Number.

Use this guide to locate the certificate number on a Cosmic Grading Card holder before submitting a verification request.

Step By Step

Locate the number on the holder.

Follow these steps to find the Cosmic Grading certificate number and use it for verification.

Position the card correctly

Place the card on a flat surface. Hold or position the card so the back of the holder is facing you.

Locate the back right section

Focus on the right side of the card’s back. The certificate number is located in this area.

Look for the Genuine Stamp

On the back right corner, find the Cosmic Grading Genuine Stamp. This holographic sticker helps validate the card’s authenticity.

Find the certificate number

Toward the bottom of the Genuine Stamp, you will find the certificate number used to identify the card and its grading details.

Validate the certificate number

Use the correct verification option based on when the card was graded. Cards after March 25, 2025 can be checked through the database search. Cards prior to March 25, 2025 can be submitted for manual verification.
